Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 June 2026

These terms are a contract between you and Waymark Prints (“Waymark”, “we”, “us”). They govern your use of the Waymark website and your purchase of prints. By using Waymark you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

What Waymark does

Waymark lets you connect your Strava account, choose one of your activities, and order a hand-made art print of its route. Connecting Strava is optional — you can also preview a sample or upload a GPX file — but a Strava connection is needed to print your own activities.

Your account & Strava

You sign in with Strava and must comply with Strava’s own terms. You’re responsible for the activity you connect and for keeping your account secure. We read your Strava data only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time, which revokes our access.

Your content & rights

Your activities, routes, names, and any caption text remain yours. By placing an order you grant us a limited licence to use that content solely to produce, fulfil, and support your print. You confirm you have the right to print the activity and any text you add, and that it isn’t unlawful or infringing.

Orders, pricing & payment

Prices are shown at checkout in your local currency and may vary by size, frame, and region. Each print is made to order. An order is accepted once we confirm it; we may decline or cancel an order (for example, if a route can’t be rendered to print quality, or a price was clearly wrong) and will refund any payment taken. Payment is processed by Shopify.

Made-to-order items, returns & cancellations

Because every print is personalised and made to order specifically for you, it is generally exempt from the standard statutory “change of mind” cancellation right. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights where an item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described — if that happens, contact us and we’ll repair, replace, or refund it. See our returns process by emailing [email protected].

Shipping

Prints are produced and shipped by our fulfilment partner. Delivery estimates are indicative, not guaranteed, and may be affected by the carrier. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service: no unlawful, infringing, or offensive content; no attempts to disrupt, scrape, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access; and no use of the service or any Strava data other than as intended here.

Intellectual property

The Waymark name, site, designs, and software are owned by us or our licensors. Map data is provided under the licences listed in our map credits. Strava is a trademark of Strava, Inc.; Waymark is not endorsed by or affiliated with Strava.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is”. We don’t warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that activity data from Strava is accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. None of this limits liability that can’t be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).

Changes & termination

We may update these terms or the service from time to time; the “last updated” date will change and continued use means you accept the update. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
